Posted by Carla McAlary on

Fall is always an exciting time: the pumpkins, back to school, new beginnings, changing leaves, and, of course, fall fashions. Once the temperatures drop, the layers pile up and everyone from toddlers to grown ups want to catch the fashion wave. These days fashion trends seem to blow as quick as the autumn winds, but here are some tips on following the fresh trends for Autumn 2016/17.

In magazines and fashion blogs everywhere, you’ll find common trends and themes in everything from decorating your living room to your underwear. Common themes include military styles, athleisure, bohemian, romantics, tailored sport, and streetwear.

Patches and Badges: This year the fall runways presented a great play between hippie 70s style, camping, and naval styles. Whichever the theme there is one common element: patches. Whether you want to mimic a military or hippy inspired look, the more patches the better. Patchwork denim or just patches applied. Here are some of our favorite styles.
