Where can I buy Beatrix New York products?
You may buy Beatrix products in fine department stores and independent children's retailers all over the world. Click here to shop directly from our online store or click here to locate the retailer nearest you.
How often do you come out with new colors and styles?
We create a new collection every year, usually launched in January.
How do I clean my Beatrix New York products?
Backpacks: Wash alone in cold, delicate cycle of laundry machine with zippers closed. Line dry. Pre-treatment with a spot cleaner such as Oxy Clean or Spray 'n' Wash is strongly recommended.
Cuddly Creatures & Micro-Cuddlies: Spot clean with a damp cloth.
iPad Cases: Spot clean with a damp cloth and a dab of clear liquid soap.
Lunch Boxes: Wash alone in cold, delicate cycle of laundry machine with zippers closed. Line dry. Pre-treatment with a spot cleaner such as Oxy Clean or Spray 'n' Wash is strongly recommended. Please make sure zipper is closed.
Cozy Cans: Hand wash only. Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads.
Wheelie Bags: Spot clean with a damp cloth. Mild detergent may be used
Where do you ship from? How quickly will my order arrive?
Beatrix orders for in-stock items depart from our warehouse in Vacaville, California within 1-2 business days. We ship Fed Ex ground for street address orders in the continental U.S. and USPS for APO & P.O. boxes in the U.S. and for all international orders. If you live in the United States, your order will likely take two to five business days to arrive once it has left our warehouse. If you live abroad, your order will likely take ten days to two weeks after warehouse departure.
What happens with shipping if some of the items I have ordered are back-ordered?
Beatrix is pleased to ship as ready for back-ordered products at no additional cost to our customers.
Do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska or overseas?
Yes! We can ship to virtually any address in the world. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes, we do!
How much will shipping cost?
All orders with a product value of $50 or more shipping in the continental US ship for free. Please note that otherwise shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
At this time we do not offer gift wrapping. We can, however, offer a gift message and gift receipt (without pricing) if you email email@example.com or call 212-431-5860 immediately after placing your order.
How do I exchange/return a Beatrix New York item?
Beatrix offers a 30-day return policy to exchange or receive a full refund, less the cost of shipping. We will reimburse your original shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) and send you a call tag for free shipping return.
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Items without receipt or proof of purchase
- Items purchased on sale
- Items not purchased on beatrixny.com (purchases made at one of our retailers, must be returned to them directly)
- Used items, without all tags and/or wraps attached
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
What is Beatrix New York's warranty policy?
We at Beatrix New York take great pride in the quality of our products and strive to maintain excellent customer service. Please note that the Beatrix warranty covers items against workmanship defects. This does not cover damages caused by accidents, abuse, or natural breakdown over extended use and time. All products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. If you believe you have a defective product, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include photo(s) of the damage and the PO# from the little white tag inside of the bags, sewn on the side of the cuddly creatures or printed directly on the water bottles.
Are your products tested for safety?
Yes, all of our products have been tested and either meet or exceed CPSIA standards.
